This group class is perfect for songwriters who want to work on creativity, songwriting theory, performance techniques and even a little bit of the business side of songwriting. Class is taught by local singer/songwriter Jamie Wyman.

This will be a fun and relaxed environment that is highly focused on sharing and feedback (because that’s the best part of songwriting), with “textbook” concepts handed out in small doses each week.

At the end of the 6-week session, the class will hold a public “Songwriters in the Round” performance for students who feel ready.

If you have not written a song, but have always wanted to, this could be a chance for you to get inspired by fellow songwriters.

The Songwriter Circle is meant to be participatory, so after the first week, you should be prepared to bring at least part of a song to the second session. We are all putting it out on the line in this circle.
