North Valley Music School is a 501(c)3 non-profit community music school committed to enriching our ommunity through music education, appreciation, and performance.  We serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and incomes.  We believe that music programs and lessons should be readily accessible to everyone. 

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

To qualify for a scholarship, one must complete the application process below. NVMS’s scholarship program is based on the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines. Applicant information will be kept confidential and will not be used for any other purpose. Faculty are not made aware of scholarship recipients.

NVMS requires that individuals reapply for their scholarships annually and report any change of financial status within 30 days of change. Failure to do so may jeopardize the individual’s membership status.  In addition, please provide any changes in phone numbers, addresses, and payment information as they occur.

AMERICAN INDIAN MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS

As Montana’s only nonprofit community music school, North Valley Music School founded this scholarship to encourage the pursuit of music education, provide philanthropic funding for American Indians and indigenous communities, and enable broader public awareness of the diverse musical contributions of Montana’s American Indians to the culture of our state and region. We seek to honor and award such individuals as role models of citizenship, creativity, and entrepreneurship in the arts.

Awards: Two $500 scholarships to be used for any need
