Programs

North Valley Music school serves around 400 students each year through private lessons, early childhood music, performing ensembles, group classes, workshops, master classes and summer camps. We offer programs for all ages and levels of students from newborns to retirees. The dedicated student can enroll for private lessons through our 36-week school year and summer session. The potential student can explore their musical interest through a group class or summer camp or a trial of private lessons. Feel free to call or stop by the school and speak with our staff about what is most appropriate for you or your child.  Our office hours are Mon-Thur 10:00 to 5:00.  Scholarships are available for both youth and adults based upon the income eligibility guidelines of the National School Lunch Program.

Private Instruction
We offer private lessons in Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Electric Bass, Voice, Guitar, Electric Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, Harp, and Flute.  Suzuki Instruction is available in piano.  Traditional and Suzuki lessons are offered weekly for a private half-hour or longer. Some of our teachers periodically provide students a group class instead of their private lesson. All students (children, teens and adults) have the opportunity to participate in recitals, community performances, and ensembles.

Lessons are offered throughout the 36 week school year with the option of summer lessons from many of our teachers. We follow the Whitefish School District calendar and are closed on the same major holidays. We are open on all PIR days. Make-up days are provided for Monday students for Labor Day and Memorial Day. Private lesson students are provided a student handbook.
